Who is Aashka Goradia?
Early career and television roles
Aashka Goradia began her professional path in 2002. She appeared in the Sony TV series Achanak 37 Saal Baad and the comedy program Acting Acting. Shortly after, she joined the cast of Kkusum on the same network, playing the character Kumud Kapoor Oberoi. This role helped establish her presence in the Hindi television industry.
Over the following years, Aashka took on various parts in television serials. She acted in Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka on Zee TV, Mere Apne on 9X, and Virrudh on Sony TV. She also portrayed negative characters in productions like Saat Phere, Shubh Vivah, and Laagi Tujhse Lagan. These roles showed her range across different genres within Indian television.
Reality television and major series
Aashka Goradia participated in several reality shows throughout her career. She competed in the fourth season of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. Later, in 2012, she entered the Bigg Boss house as a contestant for the show's sixth season. During her time on the program, she stayed until her eviction on December 28, 2012.
Her acting work included significant projects such as the historical drama Bharat Ka Veer Putra, Maharana Pratap, where she played Maharani Dheer Bai Bhatiyani. For this performance, she received the ITA Award for Best Actress in a Negative Role. Also, she appeared as the character Mahavinashini in the series Baal Veer starting in August 2015. She also featured in the supernatural drama Naagin between 2016 and 2017.
Business ventures and personal life
In 2018, Aashka Goradia transitioned into the business world by launching her cosmetic brand, Renée Cosmetics. The company introduced India's first double stitched 3D eyelashes. The brand later received recognition at the Femina Power Brands 2021 event and was named India's Most Trusted Brand by CNBC in 2021. She has also served as a speaker at a TED Talk.
Regarding her personal life, Aashka dated actor Rohit Bakshi for several years. She later met American businessman Brent Goble. The couple married on December 1, 2017, in a Christian ceremony, followed by a traditional Hindu wedding on December 3, 2017. They welcomed their first son in October 2023 and their second son in May 2026.
