Early life and background
Adrianne Curry was born on August 6, 1982, in Joliet, United States. She grew up in her hometown and attended Joliet West High School. She is of Italian descent through her maternal grandmother. During her early years, she was raised as a Roman Catholic before later identifying as an atheist and eventually expressing an appreciation for the faith's cathedrals in later life.
How Adrianne became famous
Adrianne became well known by competing in the reality television modeling competition America's Next Top Model. She won the first cycle of the show in 2003, defeating other contestants to secure the title. Following her victory, she signed with Wilhelmina Models in New York City and began her professional modeling career.
After her success on the modeling show, Adrianne expanded her television career by appearing on VH1's fourth season of The Surreal Life in early 2005. Adrianne married Christopher Knight in May 2006 after they met on The Surreal Life. The couple later separated, and in 2011 they announced their divorce. She subsequently announced her engagement to voice actor Matthew Rhode in August 2007. She eventually left Hollywood behind to live a rural lifestyle and moved with Rhode to Whitefish, Montana, where they eloped in Glacier National Park on September 15, 2018. She currently operates her own lifestyle blog from her remote home.
