Who is Anna Iriyama?
Early career in AKB48
Anna Iriyama entered the entertainment world in March 2010 after passing an audition for the 10th generation trainees of AKB48. She began performing at the AKB48 Theater in June of that year. By July 2011, she became a full member of the group when she was promoted to Team 4.
During her time with the group, she participated in several general elections. In 2014, she achieved 20th place with 34,002 votes, and in 2016, she reached her highest rank at 18th place with 36,894 votes. She was also a member of the subgroup Anrire, which released the number one single Ikujinashi Masquerade in 2012.
Acting and international work
Her acting roles include starring in the TV drama Kekkon Sasete Kudasai!! In 2014 and appearing in the film Ao Oni. Anna Iriyama moved to Mexico between 2018 and 2019 to film the telenovela Like La Leyenda. In this production, she played Keiko Kobayashi, a Japanese student living in Mexico.
She has appeared in various series such as Majisuka Gakuen and Crow's Blood. Her upcoming projects include roles in Sennyu Kyodai: Tokushu Sagi Tokumei Sosakan and the 2026 series Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity. She continues to work as an actress in Japan while making occasional trips to Mexico.
YouTube and personal achievements
In April 2019, she started a YouTube channel that initially featured her travels through Mexico. She used Spanish in these videos and included Japanese subtitles for her viewers. Later, on July 30, 2022, she launched her official Japanese channel named Anna Iriyama Official Annin Channel.
Anna has also demonstrated her language skills by passing the B1 level of the DELE Spanish proficiency test. Aside from her media presence, she is a businessperson and a model. She is represented by the talent agency Ohta Production.
