Who is Archita Sahu?
Early life and education
Archita Sahu was born in Rourkela. She spent her childhood years in Bhubaneswar. She attended the Demonstration Multipurpose School for her early education. Later, she pursued higher studies at KIIT University. She earned a B.Tech degree in Information Technology in 2011.
Archita is a trained performer of classical Odissi dancing. This skill earned her a national scholarship. She began competing in beauty pageants as a teenager. She was crowned Miss Kalinga in 2004.
Acting and modeling career
Archita started her film career in 2005. Her first movie was titled O My Love. While many pageant winners seek Bollywood roles, she focused on Odia cinema. This path brought her fame in the region. She starred in movies like Chocolate and Pagala Karichi Paunji Tora.
She eventually expanded her work to other film industries. Archita made her debut in both Hindi and Bengali cinema. This occurred in the film The Light: Swami Vivekananda. She played the character Moina Bai in this production.

The Government of Odisha gave Archita Sahu four state film awards. She received the Best Actress honor for films including ACP sagarika, Chocolate, and Pagala Karichi Paunji Tora. She also won a supporting actress award for Babu I Love You in 2006.
Other honors include multiple wins at the Tarang Cine Awards for films such as Bye Bye Dubai, Pilata Bigidigala, and Smile Please. She was named Star Entertainer of the year in 2017. Archita Sahu married fellow actor Sabyasachi Mishra on March 1, 2021. They held their wedding ceremony in Jaipur. The couple shares a professional background in the film industry.
