Ashley Cole was born on December 20, 1980, in Stepney, United Kingdom. He grew up with his mother, Sue Cole, and his younger brother, Matthew. His father, Ron Callender, left the family when Ashley was young. As a child, he attended Bow School in Tower Hamlets.
