Who is Avika Gor?
Early life and schooling
Avika Gor was born on June 30, 1997, into a Gujarati family in Mumbai, India. She grew up in her birthplace and attended Sharon English High School, which is located in the Mulund suburb of Mumbai.
From a young age, she showed an interest in the performing arts and began her path in the entertainment industry as a child artist on television.
Television and film career
Avika Gor made her Hindi television debut in the show Ssshhhh...Koi Hai in 2007. She achieved widespread recognition for playing Anandi Singh in the hit television series Balika Vadhu and later portrayed Roli Dwivedi Bhardwaj in Sasural Simar Ka.
Her work as a child artist eventually led to film opportunities. She made her feature film debut in the Hindi movie Morning Walk in 2009. She expanded her career into Telugu cinema with the film Uyyala Jampala in 2013, winning the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut in the Telugu region.
Over the years, Avika Gor appeared in various other films such as Cinema Choopistha Mava, Care of Footpath 2, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada, Raju Gari Gadhi 3, 1920: Horrors of the Heart, and Shanmukha. She also ventured internationally by starring in the Kazakh film Kazakh Business in India and its spin-off project, I go to school.
Reality television and recent projects
Aside from fictional dramas and films, Avika Gor took part in several reality television programs. She competed in the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 and later appeared in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.
In 2025, she played an investigative journalist in the film Shanmukha alongside Aadi Saikumar. During the same year, she participated in the reality series Pati Patni Aur Panga, Jodiyon Ka Reality Check. Following a break from fiction television, she returned in October 2026 to make a cameo appearance as the queen of Apsaras in the StarPlus series Apsara.
Personal life and relationships
Avika Gor met social activist Milind Chandwani in 2019, and the two began dating the following year in 2020. After a five-year relationship, the couple got engaged in June 2025.
On September 30, 2025, Avika Gor married Milind Chandwani directly on the television sets of the reality series Pati Patni Aur Panga, Jodiyon Ka Reality Check.
