Early life and education
Caprice Bourret was born in Hacienda Heights, California, on October 24, 1971. Her mother is an interior designer and her father worked as an estate agent. Her parents separated when she was four years old and later divorced. She was raised by her single mother and grew up with a younger sister in California.
During her teenage years, she attended the private Catholic Bishop Amat Memorial High School in La Puente, California. She graduated from the school in the class of 1989. While still a high school student at the age of sixteen, she started her first job by waiting tables to earn her own money.
Modelling and music career
Caprice Bourret built a big international modelling career by appearing on more than two hundred fifty magazine covers. Her face graced major publications such as Vogue, GQ, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Maxim, FHM, Playboy, and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Publications and organisations recognised her popularity with several distinct titles throughout her career.
Expanding into the music industry, she signed a recording contract with Virgin Records in 1999. She released her debut single titled Oh Yeah, which reached number twenty four on the United Kingdom charts. She followed this up in 2001 with another single titled Once Around the Sun, which also reached number twenty four on the United Kingdom charts.

In the business world, she launched a successful licensing agreement with the British department store Debenhams in the year 2000 for a lingerie line bearing her name. Six years later, she bought back the licence to establish her own company named By Caprice Products. Through this company, she designs and markets various items including sleepwear, swimwear, and lingerie, while also expanding into bedding products later in her career.
As an actor, she appeared in numerous television programmes and feature films. Her early film credits include roles in Hollywood Flies, Nailing Vienna, and Jinxed In Love. She later starred in holiday films such as Christmas in the Highlands, A Toast to Love, A European Christmas, and A Scottish Christmas Secret, where she took on lead performance and production roles.

She featured prominently as an original main cast member on the Bravo reality show Ladies of London. In her personal life, she began a relationship with British financier Ty Comfort in 2011. The couple welcomed two sons together, with the first born through surrogacy and the second born shortly after. They later married quietly at a register office in London and made their home together in the Notting Hill area of the city.
