Who is Damilola Adegbite?
Early life and education
Oluwadamilola Adegbite was born in the Surulere neighborhood of Lagos, Nigeria. During her youth, she attended Queen's College, which is located in Yaba, Lagos.
After finishing her secondary education, she enrolled at Bowen University in Iwo, Osun State. There, she completed her studies in business administration before moving into her professional career in entertainment.
Acting career
Damilola Adegbite launched her professional acting career on the long-running Nigerian soap opera Tinsel. She portrayed the character Telema Duke, which served as her breakthrough role in the industry.
Beyond her television work, she has appeared in several film projects. One of her well-known film roles was playing Kemi Williams in the motion picture titled Flower Girl. Her performance in the television industry was recognized in 2011 when she won the award for Best Actress in a TV Series at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
In addition to acting, Damilola has worked as a model and television personality. Her career has included hosting various programs on television and appearing in multiple commercial spots.
Relationships
Damilola met fellow actor Chris Attoh on the set of the soap opera Tinsel. The two became engaged in August 2014 and later welcomed a son named Brian in September of that same year.
The couple held a private wedding ceremony in Accra, Ghana, on February 14, 2015. However, their marriage ended in 2017. News of the separation circulated after Damilola removed her husband's surname from her online accounts and stopped following him on Instagram. Chris Attoh subsequently confirmed the end of their marriage during an interview.
