Who is Éva Henger?
Early life and beginnings
Éva Mária Henger was born in Győr, Hungary. She attended the Prohászka Ottokár Orsolyita Gimnázium, Általános Iskola és Óvoda in Győr, where she studied classical ballet. Her education also included eight years of piano training. During her youth, she played competitive handball for a championship-winning team. Also, she gained experience working as a nurse for two years and managing a bowling alley for another two years.
Her modeling career started at age 14 when her mother submitted photos to the Fotomodella dell'anno beauty contest, where she placed in the top three. She appeared in television commercials for shopping centers and became a face for various magazines and newspapers. At 15, she placed third in a Hungarian beauty contest and later participated in The Look of the Year pageant at 16. By 17, she was elected Miss Teen Hungary 1989.
Career in Italy and television
After moving to Italy, she began working with the Blue Angels agency and later performed in various lap dance clubs. In the 1990s, she started appearing in mainstream media, modeling for brands like Chiara Boni and Fendi. She was the protagonist of the Cin cin program on Peruvian television. In 1996, she debuted in the film Fantozzi, Il ritorno and later appeared in the 2002 Martin Scorsese film Gangs of New York.
Her television work spans several decades. Between 2000 and 2010, she appeared on the program Ciao Darwin. She also hosted the radio show Due di notte on Rai Radio 2 from 2000 to 2005. Other television credits include Convenscion, Stracult, and the reality show La fattoria, where she was a semifinalist. In 2005, she co-hosted the program Paperissima Sprint alongside Gabibbo.
Family and personal life
Éva Henger has been married twice, first to Riccardo Schicchi and later to Massimiliano Caroletti. She has three children named Mercédesz Henger, Riccardo Schicchi Jr., and Jennifer Caroletti. Her daughter Mercédesz also works in the entertainment industry and has appeared alongside her mother in various projects, including the film Gangs of New York.
