Early career and pageantry
Goizeder Azúa began her path in the pageant world by securing the title of Miss Carabobo in 2002. Following this success, she entered the Gala de la Belleza, which served as a preliminary competition for Miss Venezuela 2002. She emerged victorious and earned the crown of Miss Venezuela World 2002. This win allowed her to represent her home country at the Miss World 2002 pageant, where she successfully placed among the top ten contestants.
Before competing on the international stage for Miss International, Goizeder traveled to Las Vegas to take part in the Miss Mesoamerica 2003 pageant. She won that title as well, further establishing her reputation in the beauty circuit.
