Early life and real name
Juan Pablo Martínez-Zurita Arellano was born on March 29, 1996. He grew up in Mexico City. His parents are Fernando Martínez-Zurita Reed and Teresa Arellano. He has two brothers named Fernando and Andrés, plus a sister named Paola.
When he was young, his family moved to the United States. This happened because his father served as a political counselor at the Mexican Embassy in Washington, D.C. Juanpa now resides in Los Angeles.
Rise to fame on Vine and YouTube
Juanpa Zurita began his career as a content creator in 2013. He posted his first Vine on June 11 of that year. The video featured his dog, Puca, and was titled "That dog killed chuck norris and was after me." This clip got thousands of views quickly.
He often made videos with his brother, Andrés. By 2017, he had over 1.8 million followers on the app. After Vine closed, he focused on YouTube and Instagram. He produces content in both English and Spanish.
