Who is Kylie Verzosa?
Early life and education
Kylie Verzosa Fausto Verzosa was born in Baguio, Philippines. Her parents are Ari and Racquel Verzosa. She attended high school at Saint Louis University. Later, she enrolled at the Ateneo de Manila University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management. Before entering the entertainment industry, she held a position as a pre-school teacher.
Pageant career
Kylie began her path in pageantry by entering the Binibining Pilipinas competition in 2015, where she successfully placed in the top 15. She returned to the event the following year. On April 17, 2016, she won the title of Binibining Pilipinas International at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
This victory allowed her to represent her country at the Miss International 2016 contest. She won the global competition and was crowned by Edymar Martínez of Venezuela. Kylie holds the distinction of being the sixth Filipina to ever win this specific international title. During her reign, she participated in various duties with pageant sponsors, including visits to a beauty school in Paris and a pearl farm in Japan. She also spent time working with UNICEF representatives in Denmark and Japan.
Acting and business ventures
Beyond pageantry, Kylie worked as a model and was a member of the Professional Models Association of the Philippines. She performed both ramp and print modeling work. She eventually transitioned into acting. In 2021, she appeared in her first major film role, starring in the Filipino adaptation of the psychological thriller The Housemaid. She shared the screen with veteran actor Albert Martinez. Since that project, she has appeared in several films produced by Vivamax.
In addition to her entertainment work, she founded a shapewear company called SOLÁ Body. The brand offers five different styles of body shapers in various colors and sizes. She also helps manage the Philippine operations for PropertyAccess, a real estate startup funded by Japanese investors. In 2024, the Miss Cosmo Organization announced she would serve as the host for both the preliminary and final rounds of the first Miss Cosmo competition.
Advocacy and personal life
Kylie is a dedicated advocate for issues surrounding mental health, including depression and suicide awareness. She volunteered her time with the Natasha Goulbourn Foundation to help educate the public on these topics. Also, she established Mental Health Matters, an online support group created to offer emotional assistance to individuals struggling with anxiety and other mental health conditions. In 2026, she publicly announced her engagement to an entrepreneur named Emil Eriksen.
