Who is Nicole Franzel?
Early life and education
Nicole Franzel was born on June 30, 1992, in Ubly, United States. She grew up in her hometown and attended Ubly High School, where she played on the women's basketball team. During her youth, she developed an interest in healthcare and later pursued higher education.
She attended Saginaw Valley State University to study nursing. In 2014, she successfully graduated from college as an emergency room nurse, establishing a career path outside of the television industry.
Big Brother career
Nicole Franzel entered the public eye as a contestant on Big Brother 16 in 2014, where she was noted as one of the younger houseguests. During this season, she won the Head of Household position three times and became involved with fellow contestant Hayden Voss before her eviction.
She returned for Big Brother 18, adopting a more cautious strategy that helped her avoid early eviction. She advanced to the final two and defeated Paul Abrahamian in a 5-4 vote, becoming the first female houseguest to win against a male opponent in the final two.
Later, she participated in Big Brother 22: All-Stars, placing third in the competition and setting a longevity record by living in the house for 255 cumulative days. She also competed in the holiday spin-off Big Brother Reindeer Games, securing a victory that made her a two-time winner in the franchise.

Nicole Franzel began a relationship with fellow Big Brother 18 contestant Victor Arroyo in early 2017. The couple became engaged on September 8, 2018, during a special appearance on an episode of Big Brother 20.
After postponing their wedding multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were married on March 16, 2021. They welcomed their first child, a son named Victor Arrow Arroyo IV, in July 2021, and later expanded their family with the birth of fraternal twins in February 2026.
