Nikki Galrani Pinisetty was born in Bengaluru, India, on January 3, 1993. She grew up in a family of Sindhi ancestry. Her parents are named Manohar and Reshma Galrani. She has an older sister named Sanjjanaa, who also works as an actress.
For her primary education, Nikki attended the Bishop Cotton Girls' School in Bengaluru. She later attended the Bishop Cotton Women's Christian College for her pre-university course. Although her family initially hoped she would pursue a career in medicine, she shifted her focus to fashion designing. Nikki made her professional acting debut in 2014 with the Malayalam-language sports drama 1983. In this film, she portrayed the character Manjula Sasidharan.
