Early life
Nisha Madhulika was born in Uttar Pradesh, India, on August 25, 1959. She grew up in an Indian family and spent her childhood and college years in her home state. Cooking became a part of her life at an early age.
Later, she lived in Noida with her husband and assisted him in running his tech company. While managing her daily routine, she experienced empty nest syndrome, which prompted her to look at new personal projects.
Career beginnings
In 2007, Nisha started a blog to share instructions on how to prepare Indian vegetarian recipes. Her clear explanations and practical cooking methods steadily attracted an online audience interested in home cooking.
By 2011, she had published over one hundred cooking recipes on her blog. In the same year, she expanded her platform by launching a dedicated food and recipe channel on YouTube.
