Early life and real name
Takako Estrada Saito was born on April 21, 2000. Her mother has Spanish, Japanese, and Filipino descent. Her biological father is Brazilian and of Japanese descent.
She was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Her family later moved to Paris, France, where she lived until she reached thirteen years old. After living in France, her family relocated to Manila in the Philippines.
To learn the Filipino language, she attended Colegio San Agustin Southwoods instead of an international school. She also studied at Brent International School. Later, she moved to Tokyo, Japan in October 2018.
Career highlights
Taki Saito began her acting career by participating in Star Magic Workshops and training under director Gina Alajar. She made her television debut in the horror comedy show ParangNormal Activity on TV5, working alongside Ryle Paolo Tan.
She later appeared as Allyson in the GMA Network situational comedy Ismol Family. She played Suzanne Silang in the family comedy drama series Calle Siete, working with Ryzza Mae Dizon, Eula Valdez, and Kenneth Medrano. The program premiered on June 13, 2016.
She also starred in the GMA Network late morning show Trops, which premiered on October 24, 2016, playing the role of Martha Kiera Masson. She later appeared on Ready Set MORe! On CMSI MUSIC TV starting on October 14, 2017.
Music career
On December 20, 2018, it was announced that Taki Saito joined the J-pop girl group Faky as a new member. As part of her career in the music industry, she uses her TikTok and Instagram accounts under the username taki_faky to connect with fans and share updates about her activities in Japan and beyond.
