Early life and education
Talia Mar was born Natalia Margaret Louise Haddock on November 6, 1996, in South London. Her father is English and her mother is of Italian descent. She grew up in a musical home with a drummer father, a singer mother, and a pianist sister.
Talia wrote poems and songs starting at age eight. She taught herself to play guitar at age 11 and began producing music at 14. She listened to R&B artists like Brandy, Monica, and Lauryn Hill. Taylor Swift served as an icon for her.
Music career and hits
Talia Mar released her first single, Stolen, in June 2016. She followed this with In the Day in March 2017. That same month, she posted a song called The Voices Are Me on YouTube. She released an EP named Tough Decisions in June 2017.
In 2019, she featured on the track Real Name for KSI and Randolph. This song reached number nineteen on the UK Independent Singles and Albums Charts. She released several singles that year, including Selfish, Better, and Diamonds. In February 2020, she provided vocals for Survive the Night by Randy and Miniminter.

She has been with Simon Minter, known as Miniminter, since 2017. The couple married on June 3, 2023, in Italy. They welcomed a daughter named Juni Angèle Minter-Mar on July 19, 2025.
