Who is Alyz Henrich?
Early life and real name
Alyz Sabimar Henrich Ocando was born in Punto Fijo, located in western Venezuela. Her early pageantry participation took place in the carnival town You mark and the Melon Fair in the Paraguana Peninsula. At age sixteen, Alyz Henrich moved to Italy to pursue modeling work. After returning to Venezuela, she lived in Maracaibo and worked as a gateway professor.
Alyz Henrich earned a degree in Social Communication from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacin. Aside from her native Spanish language, she speaks Italian and English.
Miss Venezuela and Miss Earth
Alyz Henrich represented Falcon state at the Miss Venezuela pageant and won the band of Miss Earth Venezuela. She then competed against eighty-eight other candidates at the Palace of Versailles in Manila, Philippines. On December 7, Alyz Henrich was crowned Miss Earth. She became the second winner from Venezuela and the first winner from Osmel Sousa owned Miss Venezuela.
During the pageant, Alyz Henrich also received the Best Evening Gown award and the Miss Integral award. Her environmental advocacy for Venezuela involved supporting trash collection in the Los Roques archipelago to keep island waters clean.
United Nations Youth Conference
Alyz Henrich served as a special guest for the United Nations Youth Conference for Environment and Biodiversity in Hurghada, Egypt. She delivered a speech during the opening ceremony and moderated the Global Village Festival with children at the Berlin University in El Gouna.
Alyz Henrich engaged in discussions with delegates, sponsors, and the international press regarding environment, culture, and bio marine experiences. She also led a workshop for children on waste recycling in Abo Monkar, a protected island in the Red Sea.
