Early life and family background
Ariana Marley Greenblatt was born in New York City on August 27, 2007. She grew up in both New York and Parkland, Florida. The actress comes from a family with deep roots in the entertainment industry.
Her father, Shon Greenblatt, is an actor. Her paternal grandparents worked as Broadway producers. Her mother, Solimar Colón, is a former professional ballerina who is originally from Puerto Rico. This creative environment surrounded the young star during her childhood.
Starting her acting career
Ariana Greenblatt began her professional acting path in 2016. Her first major break came when she joined the cast of the Disney Channel sitcom Stuck in the Middle. She played the character Daphne, who was the youngest child in the Diaz family, appearing in the show from 2016 until 2018.
Following her television debut, she moved into film work. Her first role on the big screen was playing Lori in the 2017 comedy A Bad Moms Christmas. She continued expanding her credits in 2018 by portraying a young Gamora in the Marvel blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War.
Rising to prominence in film and TV
The actress built her resume with several well-known projects over the following years. She acted in In the Heights, The One and Only Ivan, and Love and Monsters. She also did voice acting work, such as portraying a young Velma Dinkley in the 2020 film Scoob! And voicing Tabitha in The Boss Baby: Family Business.
Her career reached a new level in 2023. She starred as Koa in the science fiction thriller 65 and appeared as Sasha in the hit film Barbie. That same year, she played a young Ahsoka Tano in the Disney+ space opera series Ahsoka. Her performance in the Barbie film earned her nominations at the Critics' Choice and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Between her work on 65 and Barbie, the actress filmed the movie Borderlands, where she played the character Tiny Tina. This adaptation of the popular video game was released in 2024. In 2025, she appeared in the projects Fear Street: Prom Queen and Now You See Me: Now You Don't.
