Early Life and Beginnings
Ayesha Takia was born in Mumbai, India, on April 10, 1986. She grew up in a diverse cultural environment. Her father, Nishit Takia, is a restaurateur of Gujarati descent. Her mother, Faridah, has British (Anglo-Indian) and Marathi ancestry.
Ayesha attended St Anthony's Girls High School in Chembur. She began her modeling career at the age of 15, appearing in television commercials. One well-known campaign was 'I am a Complan Boy! I'm a Complan Girl!' with Shahid Kapoor.
Entry into Entertainment
Before her film debut, Ayesha Takia featured in popular music videos. She appeared in Falguni Pathak's song 'Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye.' Later, she was seen in the remix video 'Shake It Daddy,' alongside actor Keith Sequeira. These appearances brought her to the attention of Bollywood producers.

Outside of her film career, Ayesha has shown support for animal welfare and wildlife conservation efforts. She is married to businessman Farhan Azmi. The couple has a son.
