Who is Britt Robertson?
Early life and family
Britt Robertson was born at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her parents are Beverly and Ryan Robertson, a restaurant owner. She grew up in the city of Greenville, South Carolina, as the oldest of seven children.
When she was 14, her grandmother Shuler Robertson moved with her to Los Angeles. This move allowed the teenager to audition for various television pilots. By the time she was 16, she began living as an independent adult in Los Angeles.
How Britt became famous
Her acting path began on stage at the Greenville Little Theater. She made her first screen appearance in a 2000 episode of the show Sheena. Shortly after, she appeared in Power Rangers Time Force and received a Young Artist Award nomination for her work in The Ghost Club.
Britt's career expanded through roles in Growing Pains: Return of the Seavers and the film Dan in Real Life. She later starred in the Lifetime film The Tenth Circle in 2008. These early projects helped establish her presence in the industry.
