Early life and family
Deolane Bezerra Santos was born in Vitória de Santo Antão, Pernambuco. Her mother is Solange Bezerra, and she has two sisters named Dayanne and Daniele Bezerra. Her father left the family when she was two years old.
During her childhood, the family relocated to São Paulo. Deolane Bezerra became a mother at age 16 when she adopted her first child, Gilliard. This adoption was officially completed in 2022.
Legal career and education
She studied law at Universidade Cidade de São Paulo and finished her degree in 2021. Following this, she specialized in criminal law at the Federal University of Pernambuco. Deolane registered with the Order of Attorneys of Brazil on April 25, 2014.

She was arrested in September 2024 during Operation Integration, which investigated illegal gambling and money laundering. This operation also involved her mother, Solange Bezerra. Deolane was released via a writ of habeas corpus because she has a daughter under twelve, but she was later detained again for violating release terms.
In May 2026, she was preventively arrested in Barueri during Operation Vérnix. This investigation, led by the Public Ministry of São Paulo, targeted financial mechanisms used for concealing assets. Authorities alleged she received over R$1 million in undeclared assets between 2018 and 2021. She has denied all wrongdoing and her defense has claimed she is facing abuse of authority.
