Who is Gökhan İnler?
Early life and career
Gökhan İnler was born in Olten, Switzerland, and began his youth football career with local clubs before joining Basel. He later moved to FC Aarau to continue his development in the sport.
On March 20, 2005, he made his Swiss Super League debut in a match against Grasshoppers. He subsequently transferred to FC Zürich, where he won the Swiss championship in both the 2005-06 and 2007-08 seasons.
Italian clubs and Udinese
In July 2007, Gökhan moved to Italy to play for Udinese in Serie A after the club met a buy-out clause in his contract. During his first season, he started all domestic games and helped Udinese finish seventh in the league.
