Early life and real name
Born in Carmi, Illinois, the performer spent his youth in Springfield. His father worked as a car salesman, while his mother was employed as a nurse. Before entering the entertainment industry, he held jobs delivering balloon-o-grams and working as a stripper. A local photographer eventually captured his image and sent the professional portfolio to California-based director John Travis. This connection served as the essential launchpad for his career in the adult film industry, where he became known as Jeff Stryker, though his birth name is Charles Casper Peyton.
Career in adult entertainment
He is primarily recognized for his extensive filmography in gay pornography, though he also appeared in numerous heterosexual productions. One of his most well-known commercial successes in the straight adult genre was the film Jamie Loves Jeff, which was distributed by Vivid Entertainment. Throughout his professional life, he has explored different creative roles, acting as a director, screenwriter, and producer.
