Who is Jenna Morasca?
Early life and education
Jenna Morasca was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on February 15, 1981. She is an only child born to Michael and Carla Morasca. Before her television career began, she attended South Fayette High School and graduated in 1999.
She later pursued higher education at Duquesne University for two years. Following this, she transferred to the University of Pittsburgh. While a student at the University of Pittsburgh, she joined the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.
Survivor and television career
Jenna Morasca became famous after winning Survivor: The Amazon in 2003. During that season, she was the youngest member of the Jaburu tribe. She eventually won the final immunity challenge and defeated Matthew von Ertfelda in a 6-1 vote to become the Sole Survivor.
She returned to the franchise for Survivor: All-Stars in 2004. However, she chose to leave the competition during the third episode to be with her mother, who was battling cancer. In 2005, she served as a co-host for the internet show Survivor Live, a role she held for five seasons.
Modeling and professional wrestling
As a model, Jenna worked in swimwear and appeared in a nude pictorial for Playboy in August 2003. She also participated in an anti-fur advertisement for PETA alongside Ethan Zohn. In 2004, she founded a model scouting company called Model Challenge USA, where she served as the CEO.
In 2009, she entered the world of professional wrestling through Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. She appeared in several backstage segments and had a storyline involving the Main Event Mafia. Her only televised wrestling match took place at Victory Road against Sharmell, where she emerged as the winner.
Personal life and current work
Jenna Morasca was in a long-term relationship with fellow Survivor winner Ethan Zohn. The couple began dating in 2003 and remained together for ten years. They eventually confirmed an amicable split in February 2013.
Since 2021, she has worked as a veterinary nurse. She previously held a position as an emergency veterinary nurse supervisor. In 2004, she also served on the board of directors for the organization Animal Friends in Pittsburgh.
