Early life and military service
Julian Andretti was born with the name Julián Ríos on October 12, 1970. His birthplace is Santiago, United States. He grew up as part of a Latin American family of Lebanese descent. Throughout his childhood and adolescence, he lived in various locations including West Covina in California, as well as Everett and Seattle in Washington.
After finishing high school at La Jolla High School in 1988, he joined the United States Marine Corps. He served in the military for six years as a sergeant until 1994. During this period, he became a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. Following his military discharge, he attended classes at Pepperdine University located in Malibu.

He later married Canadian performer Lanny Barby on March 5, 2005. The couple eventually divorced in 2007. He left the adult industry permanently in 2005 to pursue a career in real estate.
He has spoken openly in interviews about his past work in gay and bisexual films. He confirmed that he participated in a small number of bisexual movies and solo videos for financial reasons.
