Early life and education
Justin Hartley Scott Hartley was born on January 29, 1977, in Knoxville, Illinois, near Galesburg, while his family lived in the area. He grew up in Orland Park, which is a suburb of Chicago, alongside his brother Nathan and his sisters Megan and Gabriela. After completing his studies at Carl Sandburg High School, Justin attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
