Early life and record
Jyoti was born in Nagpur, India. She was born on December 16, 1993. She has a genetic condition known as primordial dwarfism. This disorder caused her restricted height. On her 18th birthday, December 16, 2011, Guinness World Records officially named her the shortest living woman. Her height was measured at 62.8 centimetres.
Career in television and film
Jyoti Amge began appearing in media early on. She was part of a 2009 documentary called Body Shock: Two Foot Tall Teen. In 2012, she co-hosted an Italian show called Lo show dei record on Canale 5 with Teo Mammucari. She also spent time as a guest on Bigg Boss 6.
Her role in a major international production came in 2014. She was cast on August 13 for the fourth season of American Horror Story: Freak Show. She played the character Ma Petite. The role of Ma Petite brought her global attention. This season premiered on October 8, 2014.

Jyoti Amge has a wax statue located at the Celebrity Wax Museum in Lonavala. She also performed social work with the Nagpur Police. She encouraged people in India to stay home during the COVID-19 lockdown.
