Early life and education
Lopamudra Raut was born in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Her parents are Jeevan Raut and Ragini Raut. She has a sister named Bhagyashree Raut.
She pursued higher education in engineering. Lopamudra earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical engineering from G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering.
Pageant career and titles
Lopamudra started her career in beauty pageants. In 2013, she was the first runner up at Femina Miss India Goa. This result allowed her to enter the Femina Miss India 2013 competition as a finalist.
She returned to Femina Miss India in 2014. During this event, she reached the top five and won the Miss Body Beautiful title. That same year, she became a finalist in the Miss Diva 2014 pageant and placed in the top seven.
In 2016, she represented India at Miss United Continents in 2016. The event took place in Guayaquil, Ecuador on September 25. She finished the competition as the second runner up.
Television and film work
Lopamudra Raut appeared as a celebrity contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss 10 in 2016. She performed well and finished the season as the second runner up.
In 2017, she joined the cast of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8. She reached the semi final stage of the competition.
The actress is set to make her movie debut in a psychological thriller called Blood Story.
