Early life and education
Melissa Rauch was born in Marlboro Township, New Jersey. Her parents are David and Susan Rauch. She is Jewish and spent her childhood years developing an interest in the performing arts. After watching Broadway productions with her family, she would practice recreating those shows in her basement.
She attended Marlboro High School before moving on to higher education. Melissa Rauch earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting from Marymount Manhattan College in 2002. This institution is also known as Northeastern University in New York City.
