Michela Pace was born in Gozo, Malta, on January 25, 2001. She is of Greek and Italian heritage. Her career in the music industry began during her teenage years in her home country.
Rise to fame on The X Factor
In 2019, she competed in the inaugural season of The X Factor Malta. Winning the competition served as the launching point for her professional music career. As part of her prize for winning, she secured a recording contract with Sony Music Italy.
Following her victory, she was selected to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. She performed the track Chameleon, which was written by a team including Joacim Persson, Paula Winger, Borislav Milanov, and Johan Alkenäs. During the contest, she finished in 14th place with a total of 107 points.
