Early life
Milo Ventimiglia was born on July 8, 1977, in Anaheim, California. He grew up as the youngest child of Carol and Peter Ventimiglia, alongside his two sisters. His father served as a Vietnam War veteran, and his family heritage includes Sicilian, English, and Scottish roots. Raised as a lacto-vegetarian, he maintained this diet into his adult years and avoids smoking or drinking alcohol.
During his school years, Milo attended El Modena High School in Orange, California. He participated in wrestling, acted in school drama productions, and served as student government president before graduating in 1995. Personal life
Milo Ventimiglia has been involved in several high-profile relationships. He dated his former Gilmore Girls co-star Alexis Bledel from 2002 to 2006, and later dated his Heroes co-star Hayden Panettiere from 2007 to 2009. In September 2023, he married model Jarah Mariano, and the couple shares two children together.
Outside of acting, Milo supports American troops and completed a United Service Organization tour in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan in July 2008. He is also a fan of rock bands such as The Clash and The Smiths. His Malibu home was affected by the Southern California wildfires in January 2025.
