Who is Nicky Hilton?
Early life and education
Nicky Hilton was born on October 5, 1983, in New York City. Her parents are Richard Hilton and Kathy Hilton, and she grew up with siblings named Paris, Barron, and Conrad. She spent her early years in Los Angeles and was raised in the Catholic faith.
For her education, she attended Convent of the Sacred Heart, which is an all-girls Catholic school located on the Upper East Side. She graduated from this institution in 2001. Following high school, she took courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons The New School for Design.
Fashion design and business ventures
In 2004, Nicky Hilton introduced her own clothing line and designed a handbag collection for Samantha Thavasa. She launched her second clothing line, named Nicholai, at a higher price point in 2007. This line held a fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City.
Over the following years, she expanded her business activities by collaborating with various brands. She introduced an Art Deco inspired jewelry line in 2010 and partnered with Linea Pelle for a handbag collection in 2015. She also teamed up with Tolani for collections in 2017 and 2019, and launched her footwear line called Nicky Hilton x French Sole in 2019.
Books and modeling work
Alongside her fashion design work, Nicky Hilton has pursued modeling and publishing. In 2005, she served as the face of an Australian underwear line called Antz Pantz alongside Kimberly Stewart. During that same period, she appeared on the cover of Lucire for its New Zealand and Romanian editions.
In 2014, she published her first book titled 365 Style through Harlequin, which is a subsidiary of HarperConllins. She also worked with cosmetic brand Smashbox in 2015 to create a limited-edition makeup collection featuring three cat-inspired kits.
Family and personal life
Nicky Hilton married businessman Todd Meister at the Vegas Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada, in August 2004. That marriage was annulled less than three months later. In 2011, she began a relationship with financier James Rothschild, who belongs to the Rothschild family.
The couple became engaged in August 2014 and married in London, England, on July 10, 2015. They share three children together, including daughters named Lily-Grace and Teddy Marilyn.
