Who is Pamela Sue Martin?
Early life and modeling start
Pamela Sue Martin was born in Westport, Connecticut. She completed her studies at Staples High School in 1971. Before finishing school, she worked at a hamburger restaurant earning one dollar and forty-five cents hourly. A friend told her about modeling jobs in New York City that paid sixty dollars an hour. This suggestion prompted her to begin working as a teen model for commercials and print advertisements at sixteen.

Her television career began at the request of her manager. She became a teen idol playing the title character on The Nancy Drew Mysteries. When the show merged with The Hardy Boys Mysteries, her role was reduced. Pamela Sue Martin left the series because of this change, with her final appearance airing on January 1, 1978.
