Early life and background
Sabine Moussier was born on July 12, 1966, in Leverkusen, West Germany. Her mother originally came from Sinaloa, while her father was from Mexico City. During her mother's pregnancy, the family lived in Germany temporarily.
After she was born, her parents moved back to Mazatlán, Sinaloa, where she spent her childhood. For a time, her mother used a false birth certificate to claim her name was Diana Sabine Kronz Moussier. Her mother also told her that her father was a German man she had separated from because of the Berlin Wall.

After graduating from the Centro de Educación Artística de Televisa, Sabine began working as a co-host for Al ritmo de la noche. She secured minor roles in Morir dos veces and Luz Clarita. Her career progressed when she played the character Mireya Serrano in the production María Isabel.
In 1998, she gained recognition for playing Lorenza Torres in El privilegio de amar. This performance earned her the Best New Actress award at the 1999 Premios TVyNovelas. She followed this success with roles in Mujeres engañadas and El derecho de nacer. Her work in Entre el amor y el odio in 2002 showed her as a primary villainess.

Sabine Moussier has faced significant health challenges during her career. While filming Mi pecado in 2009, she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome. The illness affected her spinal cord and brain, causing severe pain and difficulty remembering lines. She eventually had to leave the cast of that production before the finale was finished. She has also dealt with chronic fatigue syndrome following her recovery.
Regarding her personal life, she dated Rodrigo Santos from 1999 until 2002. She later had a relationship with Jorge Peralta, with whom she had two children. Their daughter, Camila Peralta Moussier, was born in Mexico City in 2003, and their son, Paulo Peralta Moussier, was born in 2006. Although they lived together for over five years, they were never officially married before their separation in 2008.
