Early life and education
Sanam Saeed was born in London, England, in 1984 or 1985. Her family includes a Punjabi father who worked as an interior designer and a Memon mother who taught art. She grew up with a brother and a sister before her family moved to Karachi during the early 1990s.
She attended Bay View High School in Karachi for her O-levels. For her A-levels, she studied at L'Ecole College. During her school years, Sanam participated in various stage plays.
How Sanam became famous
Sanam began her career in modeling at age 17. She later transitioned into television, making her debut in the 2010 series Daam. She worked as a VJ for Indus Music shortly after the channel launched in 2003.
Her major breakthrough occurred in 2013 with the romantic series Zindagi Gulzar Hai. Playing the character Kashaf Murtaza alongside Fawad Khan, she earned significant commercial success and multiple Best Actress awards. This role helped establish her as a prominent figure in Urdu television.
