Sonja Morgan was born on November 25, 1963, in Averill Park, New York. Her parents were Sandra Cooper and Dennis Howard Tremont. Her father and grandfather operated a lumber business in Averill Park. She has ancestry from Luxembourg, England, and Germany. Her ancestor Nicholas Tremont came to the United States before 1880. Sonja studied marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Television and acting career
Sonja joined the cast of Real Housewives of New York City in 2010. She was a main cast member for eleven seasons until 2021. Fans voted her Best Comedienne four times between 2015 and 2018.
