Who is Teerasil Dangda?
Early football career
Teerasil Dangda began his path in the sport at Assumption College Thonburi in 2003. By 2004, he joined the Air Technical Training School in the Thai Division 1 League. His senior debut proved successful as he scored three goals in six matches. In January 2006, he moved to Rajpracha. He became an important offensive player for the side during that campaign. He finished as the club's top scorer with nine goals in 18 games and added five assists. This early period helped establish his reputation as a young talent in Thailand.
European and international experience
Teerasil Dangda traveled to England in 2007 for a trial at Manchester City. He signed with the club in November after the purchase by Thaksin Shinawatra. Due to work permit issues, he did not appear for the first team. He went on loan to Grasshopper in Switzerland but did not make a first-team appearance there either. He returned to Manchester City in 2008 before eventually returning to Thailand.
Success in the Thai League
Teerasil Dangda achieved significant success during his stints at Muangthong United. In 2012, he helped the team maintain an unbeaten run throughout the entire season. On 18 October 2012, he scored four goals in a single match against BBCU. Later that month, he scored in a draw against BEC Tero Sasana. This goal helped secure the league title and brought his season tally to 24 goals, which broke the previous league record.
Time in the J1 League
Teerasil Dangda signed a loan deal with the Japanese club Sanfrecce Hiroshima on 20 December 2017. He made his official debut on 24 February 2018 against Consadole Sapporo. He scored the winning goal in that match. During his time with the club, he played 32 league matches and scored 6 goals. He later joined Shimizu S-Pulse in January 2020. He debuted on 22 February 2020 against FC Tokyo and scored in that game. He finished his stint there with 3 goals in 24 league appearances.

On 1 July 2025, Teerasil joined Bangkok United and chose to wear the number 10 jersey. He scored on his debut for the club in a 3-2 victory against Rayong on 17 August 2025.
