Who is Tomasz Frankowski?
Early football career
Tomasz Frankowski started his professional path in 1991 with Jagiellonia Białystok. This was his hometown club where he first began playing as a young man. He eventually moved to France to join RC Strasbourg during the early 1990s.
After his time in France, he played in Japan for Nagoya Grampus Eight. He then returned to France to play for CFP Poitiers and later FC Martigues. These international moves helped him gain experience across different leagues before he returned to Poland.
Success at Wisła Kraków
The striker found his most significant success while playing for Wisła Kraków. During his time with the club, he helped them secure five Polish Championship titles. He also won two Polish Cups and one Polish Super Cup with the team.
Tomasz Frankowski was a productive scorer for Wisła Kraków. He earned the title of league top scorer three times during his tenure there. His performance in the domestic league made him a prominent figure in Polish football during those years.
International and club travels
He represented the Poland national team 22 times and scored ten goals. One of his well-known moments was scoring during the 2006 World Cup qualifying campaign. He also made his senior international debut in 1999 against the Czech Republic.
