Who is Veve Zulfikar?
Early life and real name
Veve Zulfikar was born as Veryal Eisha Aqila. She was born in 2003 in Jombang, Indonesia. She is the eldest of five children in her family. Her parents are Riza Fitriya Zahro and Zulfikar Mohammad Basyaiban.
Veve has four younger siblings. Their names are Zahwa Heyralva Zahra, Mohammad Haidar Ashraaf, Avro Humaira, and Helwa Zulfikar Basyaiban.
Family and religious roots
Her father, Zulfikar Mohammad Basyaiban, is an international qāriʾ from Sidoarjo Regency in East Java. He is also known as Mohammad Miqdar Zulfikar or Zyal Fikar from his time at Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran. In 2013, he founded the House of Tilawah Al-Qur'an. This educational institution for Islamic boarding schools focuses on the study of Quranic qira'at.
Veve also has a grandfather named Habib Muhammad Rozi Syihab Basyaiban. He is the leader and founder of the Pondok Pesantren Sabilun Najah Watukosek. This boarding school is located in Pasuruan Regency. It focuses on the teaching of Quranic science.
Music and YouTube career
Veve joined YouTube on October 8, 2016. She uploads video blogs about her daily life. She also shares recordings of the salawat and qasida. She frequently posts videos of her reciting verses of the Quran.
On July 26, 2017, she released her first single called Sepercik Do'a Cinta. Her father wrote the song. Veve released three more singles in 2018. These titles include Berakhir Indah, Sholawat Burdah, and Sholawat Nahdliyah.
