Who is Yanet García?
Early life and education
Yanet García was born in Monterrey, Mexico, and grew up to pursue various fields of study. She studied public accounting and earned a certification as a health nutritional coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. She also attended nutrition conferences held at Harvard University.
Before achieving widespread television fame, she established her own professional modeling academy named Yanet García Models in Santiago, Nuevo León, when she was twenty years old. In 2013, she participated in the casting process for the Nuestra Belleza Nuevo León contest.
Television and modeling career
Yanet began her television career in 2014 as a weather presenter on the program Las Noticias for Televisa Monterrey. The following year, she took charge of the weather section on Gente Regia, where she achieved broader recognition. On June 21, 2015, one of her weather forecast segments went viral on the internet, bringing her global attention.
Following her internet success, she appeared on the covers and pages of several publications, including H for Men, Maxim, and FHM magazine, which named her one of the one hundred most beautiful women in the world in 2017. She also became the first model to appear on the cover of the first Mexican edition of Penthouse. In 2018, she joined the cast of the Televisa program Hoy and later debuted on Univision in 2020.
Acting and digital platforms
Expanding her career into acting, Yanet made her film debut in 2017 by appearing in the television movie Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, where she played the character Chara. Two years later, in 2019, she starred in the comedy film Bellezonismo in the role of Miss.
In 2021, she expanded her digital presence by launching an account on OnlyFans, which quickly attracted approximately five hundred thousand followers. That same year, she received recognition as the Healthy Influencer of the Year from Socialiteen magazine.
Philanthropy and charity work
Alongside her media and modeling work, Yanet has participated in various philanthropic initiatives. In 2018, she began hosting Teletón Mexico to support charitable fundraising efforts.
She later joined an environmental initiative in 2019 aimed at reducing plastic consumption and combating ecological deterioration. During 2020, she launched a specific campaign to provide financial incentives to ten families to help mitigate the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their household incomes.
