Who is Anna Andres?
Early life and background
Anna Oleksandrivna Andres was born on November 17, 1993, in Lviv, Ukraine. She grew up in a family with both Polish and Russian heritage. Her mother, Victoria, worked professionally as a graphic designer for interiors and exteriors. Her father, Oleksandr, holds a law degree and previously worked within the police force.
Her parents ended their marriage when she was five years old. Anna finished her schooling in Lviv in 2010. Later, she attended the Lviv University of Trade and Economics, where she earned a law degree in 2016. In 2018, she moved to London to study a jewelry business course at Central Saint Martins.
Modeling and media career
Anna Andres began her professional path in 2010 by becoming Vice-miss Lviv. This achievement led to work opportunities with modeling agencies in London, Milan, Kyiv, and Shanghai. She signed contracts with Bookings in London and L Models in Kyiv while completing her university studies.
In April 2014, she appeared on the cover of L’Officiel Ukraine. Shortly after, she won the Miss Ukraine Universe title on June 6, 2014. She later participated in charitable work for children and the elderly in the Donbas region. In September 2014, she completed a photoshoot for Sherri Hill in Texas and worked with GQ Russia and GQ Mexico.
Business and entrepreneurship
Anna expanded into fashion by collaborating with the British brand Pritch London in 2018 to create the Pritch by Anna Andres collection. In April 2019, she established her own brand, Anna Andres Jewelry. She worked with designer Valeria Kovalskaya in 2021 to launch the SYNERGY capsule collection.
In 2026, she became a naturalized French citizen. During the summer of that same year, she started Ambermer, which is a brand focused on sustainable resortwear and swimwear.
Family and personal life
In July 2020, she married David Barokas, a businessman from France. Their wedding ceremony was held at the Du Cap-Eden-Roc hotel on the Côte d'Azur. The couple has two children together.
She welcomed her first son, James, in January 2021. Her second son, Gabriel, was born in November 2022. Anna Andres continues to balance her various business ventures and media roles.
