Early life and education
Valeria Lukyanova was born in Tiraspol. This city was then part of the Moldavian SSR in the Soviet Union. She is of Russian origin. Her mother Irina worked within the military sector. Her father worked as a construction worker. He also worked as a part time disc jockey.
Valeria lived in Odesa, Ukraine starting at age 16. She lived there until 2014. She holds a bachelor's degree in architecture. She studied this at the Odesa Academy of Constructions and Architecture.

In 2007, Valeria won the Miss Diamond Crown of the World beauty contest. This competition had about 300 contestants. The rules did not forbid body modification or plastic surgery. She had several interviews and photo sessions in Russian media. Some of these were erotic photos.
