Who is Bob Morley?
Early life and real name
Robert Alfred Morley was born on December 20, 1984, in Kyneton, a town in Victoria, Australia. He grew up on a local farm as the son of a Filipina mother and an Australian-Irish father. He has two older sisters and an older brother. During his younger years, he was known by the nickname Bobby before adopting the professional name Bob Morley.
He attended school in Kyneton and studied drama until Year 11, when he was asked to stop due to being a disruptive student. After completing Year 12, he relocated to Melbourne and initially began an engineering degree. He later enrolled in Creative Arts at La Trobe University and secured a theatrical agent.
How Bob became famous
Bob Morley started his acting career performing in university plays such as Falling to Perfect and Tale From Vienna Woods, alongside short films. He appeared in the 2005 horror film Dead Harvest and worked as an extra on the soap opera Neighbours. His performance in Angels with Dirty Faces caught the attention of casting directors.
In 2006, he joined the cast of the Australian soap opera Home and Away as Drew Curtis. His role on the program earned him a nomination for the Most Popular New Male Talent Logie Award and brought him widespread recognition across Australia.

After leaving Home and Away in 2008, Bob Morley appeared in the action drama series The Strip and the television film Scorched. On May 5, 2019, Bob Morley married his The 100 co-star Eliza Taylor. In 2020, the couple shared that Taylor experienced a miscarriage while they were filming the final season of the series. They later welcomed their son in March 2022.
