Caroline Mohr Sunshine was born on September 5, 1995, in Atlanta, United States. She grew up with her parents, Thom and Karen, along with her two younger brothers, Johnny and Christopher. During her early years in California, she studied ballet and performed in local theatrical productions, participating in various stage credits and competitive dancing studios before pursuing professional auditions.
Rise to fame on television
Caroline Sunshine began auditioning for professional roles in 2006, appearing in commercials for products like Amazing Allysen, Yoplait Go-Gurt, and Cap'n Crunch. In 2010, she secured a role in the feature film Marmaduke and soon after landed her most famous television role. She played the European exchange student Tinka Hessenheffer on the Disney Channel original series Shake It Up, appearing alongside Kenton Duty.
