Who is Esti Ginzburg?
Early life and family background
Esther Daphna Ginzburg was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, and grew up in the Tzahala neighborhood. Her mother, Adrian Walter-Ginzburg, is a gerontologist who moved to Israel from the United States. Her father, Arieh Ginzburg, is an architect whose family has Polish and Belarusian roots. Her paternal grandfather was Shlomo Ginzburg, an architect well-known for his contributions to the original planning of Tel Aviv.
During her youth, she attended the Ironi Yud Alef High School, which is located in the northern part of Tel Aviv. She later enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces in July 2009. While serving as a soldier, she expressed her personal support for mandatory military service in Israel.
Modeling career beginnings
Esti Ginzburg began her professional career at a very young age. Her first modeling experience was a milk commercial when she was only eight years old. By the age of 14, she secured a contract with the agency Elite Models. In 2006, she signed a two-year agreement with the Israeli company Fox.
Her profile rose significantly with a feature on the cover of the French edition of Elle magazine in early 2007. Over the following years, she worked with several major global fashion brands, including Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger, FCUK, and Pull and Bear. She also collaborated with the Israeli fashion brand Castro.
Television and film work
Beyond her runway and print work, Esti Ginzburg expanded into acting and television hosting. She made her film debut in 2010 in the Joel Schumacher movie Twelve. In 2013, she also appeared in the American comedy film Movie 43. Also, she served as a co-host for the debut season of the Israeli singing competition program HaKokhav HaBa, which translates to Rising Star.
In terms of humanitarian work, she has volunteered with the Hayim Association. This organization focuses on providing support and relief to children living in Israel who have been diagnosed with cancer.
Personal life and controversies
Esti Ginzburg married real estate investor Adi Keizman in June 2012, and the couple has two sons together. In 2013, her father, Arieh Ginzburg, initiated a lawsuit against her and her husband regarding a financial dispute over the sale of a house. Following this legal action, she ceased contact with her father.
In 2022, an Israeli television program called Exposure aired a report titled The Indebted Rich. This episode featured claims from individuals who alleged they invested money with her husband for home construction projects that were never completed. The report contrasted the couple's lifestyle in Los Angeles with the financial hardships described by the claimants. Ginzburg and Keizman have been the subject of these allegations regarding unfulfilled real estate transactions.
