Who is Jade Jagger?
Early life and family
Jade Sheena Jezebel Jagger was born on October 21, 1971, at Belvedere Nursing Home in Paris. Her parents are Mick Jagger, the lead singer of the Rolling Stones, and Bianca Jagger, a fashion model and human rights advocate. Her parents divorced during her childhood years.
Jade grew up with English and Nicaraguan heritage. She has several siblings including Corrina, Karis, Elizabeth, Georgia May, James, and Gabriel Jagger. Her half-sisters are Elizabeth Scarlett Jagger and Georgia May Ayeesha Jagger.
Career and jewelry design
After working as a lingerie model, Jade Jagger launched her own brand called Jade Inc. In 1996. This company focuses on fashion and jewelry. From 2001 until 2006, she served as the Creative Director for the English high-end jewelry firm Garrard.
During her time at Garrard, she produced the Jagger Dagger. This item featured an 18-carat white gold hilt. The design included 42 pale sapphires and 12 carats of brilliant-cut diamonds. A square of blue lapis lazuli was inlaid into the center of the piece.
Home design and other work
Jade Jagger has worked as a home designer on an international scale. She has designed apartments in several locations around the world. This includes the Jade luxury residence tower located in New York and another residential project in Mumbai.
In 2001, she appeared in the documentary titled Being Mick. This film follows a single year in the life of her father. She also shared her creative process in a 2009 video for Observer Women's Magazine. In that clip, she displayed a ribbon bracelet made from household items like safety pins and a small key trinket.
Personal life
Jade attended St Mary's School in Calne, the Spence School, and the Cambridge Centre for Sixth-form Studies. While studying for her A-Levels in 1988, she began a relationship with her classmate Piers Jackson. They have two daughters named Assisi and Amba.
In 2004, she dated Dan Williams, though she denied reports that they married in 2009. On June 30, 2012, she married art director Adrian Fillary at Aynhoe Park in Northamptonshire. The couple has one son named Ray Fillary.
