Early life and family
Lincoln Lewis was born in Brisbane, Queensland. His father, Wally Lewis, served as a captain for the Australian rugby league football team. Wally also worked as a sports presenter for Nine News Queensland. His mother is named Jacqueline Lewis. He has an older brother called Mitchell and a younger sister named Jamie-Lee. Lincoln attended St Anthony's Catholic Primary School in Alexandra Hills. He later studied at Carmel College in Thornlands. Both his father and uncle worked as butchers.
Television career and breakout role
He started acting when he was thirteen. Early television roles included appearances in The Sleepover Club and H2O: Just Add Water. He also worked on Mortified and Rescue: Special Ops. In June 2007, Lincoln Lewis joined the cast of Home and Away. He played the character Geoff Campbell. This role is seen as his breakout part in the industry. He appeared in 567 episodes before his final appearance in February 2010.
At the 2008 Logie Awards, he won the prize for Most Popular New Male Talent. In September 2011, he played a marine biologist named Dominic Emmerson on Neighbours. In 2013, he discovered his identity was stolen. Lydia Abdelmalek used his address and driver's licence to catfish women online. She stalked six different people. This harassment led to the suicide of a childhood friend of the actor. A court convicted Abdelmalek of stalking in 2019. Her prison sentence was increased to four years in 2022.
