Early life and real name
Morgan Brittany was born Suzanne Cupito on December 5, 1951, in Hollywood, California. She began her acting career at age five, appearing in early television programs like Playhouse 90 and Sea Hunt. In 1960, she performed as a ballet dancer on The Dinah Shore Chevy Show before moving into prominent television roles. During her childhood, she appeared in episodes of The Twilight Zone, including Nightmare as a Child, Valley of the Shadow, and Caesar and Me.
Transition to adulthood and modeling
At age 18, the performer changed her name to Morgan Brittany. She began a new phase of her career as a dancer in Gene Kelly's Las Vegas show, Wonderful World of Girls. She later moved to New York City to work as a model with the Ford agency. During this period, she appeared in numerous print advertisements and television commercials, including a multi-year campaign for Ultra Brite toothpaste. She also served as a spokesmodel for brands such as Levi's, L'Oreal, and Maybelline.

Morgan Brittany achieved significant fame for her portrayal of Katherine Wentworth on the primetime soap opera Dallas. She joined the cast during the 1981 to 1982 season and remained with the show on and off until 1987. Her character was known for being the scheming half-sister of Pamela Ewing and Cliff Barnes. In the 1985 season finale, her character was involved in a storyline where she struck Bobby Ewing with a car, resulting in her character's death, though she returned for a brief appearance in 1987.
