Early life and education
Sandali Sinha was born in Muzaffarpur, India. Her father served as an officer and passed away while on active duty. Her mother took responsibility for raising three children in Delhi. She received her primary education at the Air Force Bal Bharati School. Later, she pursued higher studies at Jesus and Mary College in Delhi. She eventually attended the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute to refine her skills.
Growing up in a household full of pilots and doctors, Sandali originally planned to become a doctor herself. However, her path changed after participating in an amateur fashion show. This brief experience sparked an interest in the fashion industry, leading her to shift her career focus toward modelling and acting instead of medicine.

She starred in Tum Bin, which was also directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Super Cassettes Industries Limited. In this romantic film, she portrayed the character Pia. Her performance depicted an innocent woman struggling with difficult life circumstances. This film remains her most well-known work in the Bollywood industry.

Sandali Sinha married a businessman named Kiran Salaskar. The couple held their wedding in November 2005. Following their marriage, the pair settled down and started a family. They are parents to two children.
